Louis XV Style French Sofa, 1930s

This is an absolutely stunning example of a vintage French style canapé settee. The sofa is very elegant and chic with an elaborately carved fruit and foliage gold gilt wood frame, open arms, raised on turned legs. It has recently been re-upholstered in a lovely modern flecked green fabric which will go with any interior. This is Rococo at it's best and absolutely beautiful. It should be able to seat up to 3 average size people. The detail on the frame is absolutely stunning and this settee is in excellent vintage condition with a good frame and upholstery. It will take centre stage and be a talking point in any home interior or commercial setting such as a hairdresser, hotel, restaurant, beauty salon etc. It will provide several more years of service and at the same time look absolutely magnificent being a real piece of vintage history with it's own story to tell.
