Vintage Design

A very stylish Mid-Century French teak and blackened metal framed cocktail drinks bar with chromed footrest. 1960s.

The bar has a fabulous multi-coloured acrylic glass illuminated panel depicting a cocktail drinks arrangement, with an ebonised wood surround. This has been re-wired by a competent electrician with a British plug. It has not been PAT tested, and you may want to get a professional to check. The cable length is 1 metre.

In very good condition for its age, the bar shows some light signs of use. There is a minimal nick to the right-hand corner of the main laminated top, please refer to photograph number 18. There are two white laminated surface areas, these are very clean. The chromed footrest shows some signs of use as expected.

I have left the panel behind the light unscrewed (it is easily removed via the two finger grip holes cut into the wood, please see the last two photographs). This will enable you to gain easy access to the bulb inside, should you wish to turn the light on and off at its source instead of by the plug.
