About This Piece

Vintage Design

An elegant set of four dining chairs made in Italy during the 1950s. This set perfectly embodies the Midcentury Modern aesthetic, blending a minimalist metal frame with the practicality of Skai (vintage faux leather), typical of postwar industrial design.

The chairs feature a refined black lacquered metal frame with slender "stitched" legs, giving the set a light and dynamic profile. The suspended backrest and padded seat are upholstered in dark brown Skai, a warm hue that easily adapts to both modern and more classic interiors.

Condition
The chairs are in good vintage condition. The metal frame is solid and stable. The original Skai upholstery shows a beautiful patina and minor signs of wear consistent with its age (as shown in the photos), authenticating their period and historic charm.
