Vintage Design

A refined set of four original bentwood dining chairs by Gemla, Sweden’s oldest furniture manufacturer known for its craftsmanship in steam-bent solid wood.
Dating back to the 1960s, these chairs have undergone a full professional restoration in our workshop. Each piece reflects the elegance and durability of Scandinavian modern design — simple yet sculptural in form, lightweight, and exceptionally comfortable.

Restoration details:

Frames made of solid beech wood, thoroughly stripped and finished with a premium hardwax oil in the lightest natural tone
Seats and backrests reupholstered with a high-quality melange wool fabric in soft blue (from a premium European supplier)
Joints tightened, structures reinforced — the set is stable, clean, and ready for daily use
These chairs offer an exceptional balance between craftsmanship, comfort, and timeless design. They will complement both minimalist and more eclectic interiors — perfect around a dining table, in a creative studio, or as statement pieces in a modern workspace.
