19th-Century Antique French Mirror with Distressed Mirror Plate and Faux Ribbon Frame.

This beautiful antique French mirror captures the timeless elegance of the Louis Philippe style, distinguished by its gracefully rounded upper corners. The original mirror plate has developed a beautifully aged, foxed patina, adding character while still allowing for reflection. The gold-gilded frame, featuring a faux ribbon style and beads design, remains structurally sound. The mirror retains its original wooden back cladding, enhancing its authenticity.

As with any true antique, subtle imperfections from age and wear are present. For the keen observer, minor old restorations can be seen on the right side, though they blend in seamlessly and are hardly visible. Overall, this mirror is in a healthy and good condition, making it a striking addition to any space.
