About This Piece

Vintage Design

Danish luxurious and well-built chest of drawers designed by Gunni Omann for Omann Jun with model number 129. Here is quality and craftsmanship far beyond the ordinary!

The chest of drawers combines stylish design with functionality and offers an aesthetic expression that really stands out in any environment. Here is quality and craftsmanship far beyond the ordinary, and every detail is carefully designed to ensure durability and timeless elegance that will be appreciated for many years to come!

The chest of drawers is teak with a wonderful tone with the grain laid straight. Thanks to the fact that the chest of drawers is built like a cabinet, with the chest of drawers screwed into the leg frame, it is not only very sturdy but also extremely stable! The well-thought-out design in combination with high-quality materials means that the chest of drawers can withstand stress over time. The legs are carefully constructed and have connections all around, which further enhances stability and prevents any movement or swaying. The robustness means that the dresser can withstand the daily wear and tear that often occurs in the home, ensuring that it remains a reliable piece of furniture for many years to come. The dresser has already served as storage for at least fifty-five years.

The chest of drawers has seven drawers with neat handles, which gives it a clean and functional design. All drawers are sturdy and fresh in light wood.
It is very unusual to find chests of drawers with seven or more drawers, and they are often called men's chests of drawers; the idea is that there is a drawer for each day of the week, which makes it easy to organize clothes and accessories. The dimensions of the chest of drawers mean that it offers very good and efficient storage on a small floor space, making it an excellent choice for both small and large rooms. It combines functionality with a timeless aesthetic, which means it fits into different interior styles and contributes to a harmonious atmosphere in the home.
