Exceptional series of six 196 model armchairs by Danish designer Finn Juhl.
Finn Juhl is among the emblematic figures of Scandinavian furniture.
These vintage armchairs were published in the 1960s by the factory "France and Son" whose stamp is under the seat.
These armchairs are rare to find, especially in such a series.
They are worked entirely in solid teak. A quality teak whose veining and patina are magnificent.
The finesse of Juhl's work lies in the concern of details and finishes.
In addition to the aesthetics, these armchairs are particularly comfortable and offer a gentle and welcoming seat.
The tapestry was changed for a nice textured brown fabric.
The whole is in superb condition with a passage to the cabinetmaker to apply a slight protective varnish.
