In the early 1950s, William Katavolos, Douglas Kelley and Ross Littell designed the T-Chair.
*for laucerne
*The three graduates of the Pratt Institute in New York worked together for six years in designing textiles, dishes and furniture. Their best-known design became the T-Chair, who in 1952 the A.I.D. Award received as the best furniture design of the United States. The chair is located in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and in numerous other design museums.
*The leather is connected to the frame at three points, which creates only a floating seat.
*The steel frame holds the leather of three separate T-shaped metal rods, which are connected by a black t. Hence the nickname T chair.
*The leather surface was renewed by black core leather. Like new!
