Very special and extremely rare set of 4 Arne Hovmand Olsen for Mogens Kold Møbelfabrik, Model 71 Chairs. Danish designer Hans Hovman Olsen (1919 – 1989) designed these chairs in the 1950s with his attention to design detail absolutely spot on with these beauties. A mixture of materials has been used in their construction including teak, afromosia, plywood and brass. Each chair looks like it is elegantly gliding on the floor or strutting a pose and saying “Look at Me”. They not only look fabulous darling, they are also very comfortable, so you get the best of both worlds. Each chair has a Made in Denmark – Arne Hovmand Olsen for Mogens Kold stamp on the underside of the seat Condition: Very Good — This vintage item has no defects, but it may show slight traces of use.
