Pierre Jeanneret Model PJ-010705 ‘Compass’ Teak Lounge Sofa Suite circa 1956

Majestic and authentic mid twentieth century Pierre Jeanneret Model PJ-010705 Teak & Cane Lounge Sofa Suite also known as ‘Mobilier De Salon En Teck’ Chandigarh, India Circa 1956, comprising of one three-seater banquette with two matching armchairs, the solid teak frames with hand braided canework to the seat bottoms and backrests, the seat backs slightly inclined backward giving extra comfort, raised on signature Jeanneret ‘Compass’ shaped side leg assembly, the legs forming a support for the flat armrests and united by a full length crosspiece stretcher to the lower front legs, the set comes with five newly made velvet seat cushions finished in a light turquoise blue with white piping, this set has been sympathetically restored and newly re-caned in Chandigarh in exact accordance with the original specification, as with all of our Pierre Jeanneret furniture these items will come with an extensive set of pre restoration images and a certificate of authenticity, *OFFICIAL CERTIFICATE BY JACQUES DWORCZAK* reserve now.
