About This Piece

Vintage Design

Solid pine table designed by René Martin in the 1960s, a leading figure in French modernist furniture.

Its clean lines, cylindrical legs, and gently rounded top reflect a functional aesthetic typical of the era. A sought-after piece for collectors, particularly due to the collaboration with Charlotte Perriand, whose influence is evident here: simplicity, the honesty of the material, and exceptional craftsmanship. Traditional mortise and tenon joinery, robust construction.

A timeless table, ideal for a dining room or office, equally at home in a contemporary interior or a collection of vintage French design. Very good overall condition, with signs of wear consistent with its age (see photos).
