Iconic and sculptural, this set of six Monk chairs was designed by Afra & Tobia Scarpa for Molteni in the 1970s. The design reflects the Scarpa duo’s refined architectural approach — minimal yet powerful, with an emphasis on proportion, material honesty, and craftsmanship.

Each chair features a solid walnut frame with bold geometric legs, and a seat and backrest in natural Italian buffalo leather. The leather upholstery has been completely redone using premium full-grain leather, carefully chosen for its texture and durability. The walnut structure has been professionally refinished to remove scratches while preserving its warm, natural tone.
