About This Piece

Vintage Design

This pendant is reminiscent of the Kinapendel/China pendant by Bent Karlby from the 1950s when he was with Danish lighting company LYFA. The opal glass shade is complemented by a brass top and bottom. The brass bottom carries tiny triangular peepholes, a Karlby trademark, and holds an opal glass diffuser plate – matte on one side to diffuse the light optimally.
