Vintage Design

This refined Italian pendant lamp designed by Pia Guidetti Crippa for Lumi, Milan, dating to the turn of the 1960s and 1970s, is a beautiful example of elegant and innovative lighting design.

The overall size is 96 cm in height and 42 cm in diameter.

The lamp features a milk-white hemispherical shade, creating a soft and balanced silhouette. The top is finished with brass-plated aluminum, echoed by a matching lower ring that frames the diffuser. Suspended beneath is a striking element made of crystal glass composed of pentagonal segments, which brilliantly refract and diffuse the light, producing a warm and atmospheric glow. The combination of opaline glass, brass-toned metal, and faceted crystal results in a sophisticated interplay of materials, typical of high-quality Italian design from this period.

The piece is in great vintage condition, with very light signs of age consistent with time and use. The lamp can also be used in the UK and the USA. The main rod can be shortened upon request.
