The Cotton Club lounge chairs, designed by Carlo Forcolini, represent some of the Italian master's most significant and influential designs of the 20th century. His bold, playful and highly imaginative approach resulted in a series of eye-catching chairs and stools that combined strong geometric shapes and colors with a touch of humor. In addition to influential 1980s seating such as the Cotton Club and the "smiling" Alien chairs, the Carlo collection also includes Forcolini's Ran Library self-supporting bookshelf, which was inspired by temple doors in China and Japan.
