About This Piece

Oil painting on canvas by the Danish artist Rudolph G. Ziethen (1929-2003) from Oksenvad. Ziethen has painted all his life, until 1969 he was a regular craftsman in the small Danish town of Jels, but then it became full-time in front of easels and canvas.
In addition to being an executive painter, he also had a small school where he taught art for up to 40 students at a time.
