About This Piece

Vintage Design

This light was originally available in orange or green, and was being distributed as early as 1971 by Indoor: an importer of high-end lighting brands for the Netherlands. They sold brands like Vistosi, Louis Poulsen, Arteluce, and so on, though despite featuring in their 1971 catalogue, there is no designer or manufacturer listed. The ripple structure of the glass compliments the orange color, and the inside of the lamp is opaline for a softened light. Measurements given are for the orange glass.
