This is a very rare Scandinavian Modern high-pile wool rya rug has soft, vivid tones of pink, purple, yellow, blue, red, green and white which brings a calm elegance to this versatile piece. On many of the color fields, the yarn is knotted using two colors in the same knot making this very vivid. The high pile creates a dynamic surface that shifts slightly depending on how it's brushed. The design blends geometric shapes with an organic feel, incorporating triangles, squares, and other shapes. Whether used as a rug, wall hanging, blanket, or draped over a sofa or chair, this piece adds warmth and style to any space, complementing rattan chairs beautifully. Perfectly sized for beside the bed, it provides a soft, cozy landing for your feet each morning. Hand-knotted with high-quality "Kamgarn" wool yarn, crafted through a worsted spinning process that aligns fibers for a smoother and more refined finish than standard wool. The base of the rug is woven from a blend of wool and linen for added durability.
