Scandinavian Modern Glass Vases by Gunnar Ander for Lindshammar, 1950s, Set of 2

A pair of vases designed by Gunnar Ander for Lindshamar Glassbruk circa the 1950s.

They feature an exterior layer of pale pistachio shade glass with an extra thin white casing. Very light and delicate - exquisitely refined rare collectors pieces.

Gunnar Ander was a prominent Swedish glass designer known for his contributions to Scandinavian glass design during the mid-20th century. Lindshammar Glassworks, where Ander worked, was one of the renowned glassworks in Sweden known for its high-quality glassware.

This pair of vases are exquisite examples of Ander's work. The delicate nature of the design, along with the refined craftsmanship, reflects the aesthetic sensibilities of mid-century Scandinavian glass design.
