About This Piece

German fashion model Renata Boeck enjoys breakfast in bed at the Regency Hotel in New York. From 1964.

On her breakfast tray appears to be one melon slice, some juice in a glass decanter, and a cup of tea. A minimal diet for the well regarded model, and her captivating gaze halts both the photographer and the viewer.
