Making the Invisible Visible

Bernadette Deddens and Tetsuo Mukai of Study O Portable consistently curate the most interesting exhibitions of work by their peers, and their latest efforts for London Design Festival doesn’t disappoint. Entitled (Because) Hammerspace—after an obscure term applied to the unexplainable space from which cartoon characters materialize various props—the show includes presentations by Paul Elliman, Gemma Holt, Peter Marigold, Michael Marriot, and Study O Portable.

I really loved Gemma’s measuring tools. But my favorite piece was Bernadette’s and Tetsuo’s Giant Erasers for Big Mistakes.
