About This Piece

Vintage Design

A classic example of Danish craftsmanship and timeless elegance: This teak chest of drawers from the 1960s brings the warm, understated charm of Scandinavian mid-century design directly into your home. The absolute highlight of this chest is the beautifully crafted shell handles, two of which are elegantly mounted on each drawer – one on the left and one on the right. The piece features six spacious drawers. The top drawer is also equipped with a lock (though the key is no longer available). The architectural details are equally impressive: The base is slightly offset from the body, giving the piece an airy, almost floating appearance. The offset top panel, which serves as the upper edge, maintains the same stylish design, skillfully framing the clean silhouette of the frame. The chest of drawers has been carefully restored, is in very good vintage condition, and is ready to be used immediately, adding a charming focal point to your bedroom, hallway, or living area and bringing stylish organization to your home.
