Chair ‘Vilbert’ drawn by Verner Panton for Ikea and produced by Kellco between 1993/94.

This chair is made up of four MDF boards laminated with red, green, blue and purple, screwed together. Vilbert was designed and sold in two color variations.
This chair was produced and put up for sale that for a year, only about 3000 copies have sold around the world.
The numbered original label (figure 100) is always present under the seat.
This copy is in very good condition.

A few words on the designer:
Verner Panton had a predilection for all seats (armchair, chair, stool, etc.), and modern and innovative materials (plastic, especially glass fiber), all combined with bright colors and innovative lines. The resulting of the unique and singular design pieces, which deeply marked the 1960s.
