Vintage 18k Gold Ring with Sapphire and Diamonds, 1960s

About This Piece

The shape that was given to this ring very much remembers that of a wide open eye. To do as a pupil, and then in the center, we find a sapphire from the incredible color; It is an oval and estimated cutting of 1CT ca. The rest of the surface is therefore beautiful and large, and is entirely covered by a pavé of brilliant cut diamonds: directly embedded in the eye, create an effect of marvelous lights and brilliance, decidedly dazzling. They are all brilliant cut and for a total estimated of 1.50CT ca. All this central section has been inserted in a slightly hedged area than the rest of the ring, thus giving them a little depth and dividing it from the rest of the ring with a slightly marked contour. The ring is vintage, dating back to the 1960s / 1970s and is entirely in 18k yellow gold.
