Vintage Brutalist Armchairs, 1960s, Set of 6

About This Piece

Vintage Design

They originate from Italy and are said to have been made to order in 1960 for use as chairs in the garden.
So they are made in a massive way of cutting wood (walnut or oak) without screws, the mesh is tensioned by hand and is repeated on both sides also on the backrest.
In very good condition, the wood has an indented hand pattern in the case (see pictures).
One of the chairs is slightly smaller, it serves as the center but it is exactly the same as the other chairs.
Only space is needed for such a set of chairs, as they are very wide and graceful!
