Nice duo of cactus planters or vintage pot covers from the 70s and 80s, brutalist, Japanese style, artisanal ceramic enamel in wood/scale/lava style. Unknown origin, anonymous, but beautifully made. Large, slightly flared cups, round, wide and relatively high, on slightly flared bases. Textured wood-style enamel, patterns reminiscent of large scales, in gray, white, dark and light brown tones for one. The other is more in brown, red, white and beige tones. The white enamel is sparkling, “lava” style. Brown varnished interiors, hollow feet. The 1st (dark brown) is a little larger than the second, 19cm in diameter at the top and approximately 13cm in diameter at the bottom, 8.5cm in height for the cup. 13cm total height. The 2nd (redhead) 18.5cm in diameter at the top and approximately 12cm in diameter at the bottom, 8cm in height of the cup, 13cm in total height. Both in very good condition, some use. The 1st has a manufacturing defect on the foot, extremely discreet cooking cracking, as well as a chip on the lower edge of the foot, also very discreet. The 2nd has an interior manufacturing defect, cooking cracking, quite significant, but it is not detected from the outside. Around 800-900gr each.
