About This Piece

Vintage Design

Beautiful coffee table designed by Gianfranco Frattini and manufactured by Cassina in Italy in 1960. Made from rich walnut wood, the table has a warmth and timeless appeal. The addition of refined brass details make it complete. The table consists of two generously sized round elements that form the table's structure. The lower part is made from solid walnut, while the upper ring is made from glass. These elements are elegantly supported by four rounded walnut legs, creating a harmonious balance between these materials. The glass appears to float above the walnut base, held in place by a walnut wooden ring secured with brass bolts. The open centre part ha a versatile function that could be used as ditplay area for collectibles, magazines of the table can be used as dry bar to place bottles in the middle and glasses on the lower part. The table is in a very good original condition and has a floating and transparent design. Marked with the paper Cassina sticker on the bottom.
