This is a vintage oval serving tray. An English, silver plated afternoon tea platter, dating to the Mid 20th Century, circa 1950.

Profusely detailed and ornate in appearance
Displays a desirable aged patina throughout
Bright silver plate radiates fine reflective tonality with very light tarnish
Decorated with striking, chased foliate patterns to centre
Gadrooned rim edge provides a tactile finish
Pierced fretwork continues around the tray perimeter
