Vintage, mid-century, formica side table with storage compartments on multi-directional wheels, from the 1960's to 1970's.

Originally designed as a sewing box or chest, this piece can be used as a both side table in which to store a multitude of objects in any given space, as well as to be used as originally designed or otherwise, if one desires.

Piece is in overall, good, original and vintage condition with some signs and marks of previous usage and age, as well as a patina of time on the overall structure, legs and wheels, all commensurate with time (see photos.) On the left side: some old marks of usage on the rear, top corner and bottom of the front. On the right side: some old marks of usage on the top front corner (see photos.)

The box opens with an original, bakelite handle, to reveal ample storage space. On the top, there are three, divided compartments (see photos. On the lower section, there are four, separate, storage compartments (see photos.) All dimensions below.

Please note: Because the legs on wheels are removeable, we think that at some point in time, someone may have removed the legs and screwed them back on, and as a result, there's some old marks inside three of the lower storage compartments, (see photo.)

The piece rests on wooden, tapered legs with a nice, golden oak color. All of the wheels are multi-directional and function properly
(see photos.)

Underneath the piece, there is a stamp that says "Made in GDR", which indicates that it was manufactured in the German Democratic Republic.

Delivery Details

Delivery will be completed by a parcel service such as UPS, DHL, or FedEx.

A wooden crate may be used for intercontinental shipments for maximum protection.
Item will be left in its packaging after delivery.
A signature will be required upon delivery.
