About This Piece

Vintage Design

Two black lacquered steel axles support two sets of four beige plastic hooks for hanging clothes or hats. Being 360-degree rotatable, they can be positioned as desired. The rectangular base has rounded corners and is weighted for stability. It is quite heavy (almost 11 kg).

The hooks are marked Manade, and the base also retains its original label.

In Manade's own words: “with an original design, Jean-Pierre Vitrac's collection of coat racks is being launched under the designer's name.” France, 1982
