About This Piece

Vintage Design

Vintage, mid-century, wall mount rack/towel rack/decorative shelf, from France, circa 1970's - 80's.

Piece is made of oak, featuring a nice, sleek, "shark fin" design on the side panels, that have a rich, warm, golden oak-colored finish. At the center, are 6, tubular steel bars, with a white-colored, plastic/polymer coating, upon which to hang towels, scarves, or other objects. Each bar measures at a width of 44.5 cm, and the space in between each bar, is a height of 8 cm.

There are 2 holes at the top (1 on each side), and 1 hole in the center of the wood rung at the bottom (at the rear of the piece), that will enable one to affix it to a wall (screws not included.)

Piece is in overall good, original and vintage condition, with some light marks, signs of age and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a patina of time, on the overall structure, sides, edges, bars, and back (see photos.)

It is solid, sturdy and has only been gently cleaned with respect to its original patina of time.
