Medusa is a stunning imposing lamp realised by expert glass blowers in the heart of Murano during the 70s.
This rarity is made of two separate pieces of Murano glass.
The glass base reminds us of a Corinthian column with beautiful geometrical fluting.
The heavy glass hat is realised with a particular and refined swirl technique. The glass hat is fixed to the structure thanks to 4 brass screws.
Both of the pink glass pieces come in perfect conditions (no chips or cracks at all). The brass parts shows natural signs of the time passed which are to considered a guarantee of the authenticity of the product.
The lamp fits 2 X E14 and 1 X E27 regular light bulbs.
The effect once lighted up is magical and reminds us of a jelly fish.
