Vintage Design

Hans Widmann (1939 – 2018) war ein deutscher Textildesigner der für Textilunternehmen in Deutschland, der Schweiz, Österreich, Frankreich und im skandinavischen Raum tätig war.

Bei seinen Textilen-Design-Objekte handelt es sich um Einzelstücke, welche seit 1971 in zahlreichen Ausstellungen im In- und Ausland ausgestellt wurden.
Darunter 1974 in der Galerie Chantepierre (Aubonne, Schweiz) und 1975 auf der 7. Biennale International de la Tapisserie (Lausanne, Schweiz), so wie in Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Berlin, Amsterdam und weiteren Galerien in der Schweiz.

Hans Widmann fertigte individuelle Garnkonstruktionen. Durch den Einsatz von synthetischen Fäden und Fasern entwickelte er eine Vielzahl neuer Farb- und Strukturkompositionen. Unter diesen Gegebenheiten entstanden seine einzigartigen Designkreationen, die durch avantgardistische Auffassung und den Einsatz eigner Farbvorstellungen zu einem unverkenbaren Stil führten. Bei allen seinen Arbeiten handelt es sich um Unikate. Seine Werke werden mittels Nägeln an der Wand befestigt (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten).
