Antique chest of drawers with solid walnut handles dating from the 1810s/1830s. Solid walnut on all visible sides, feet and stocks also in walnut.
Top made up of 2 boards, surface sanded, stained and bistro varnished.
4 drawers including one in the belt above the stocks. Gilded brass handles, bronze keyholes.
Wide, straight and imposing feet topped with crooks. Simple, paneled sides.
Pretty chest of drawers from a mansion in a village in northern Aveyron, south of France. Good quality materials, traditional manufacturing, assembly with wooden dowels
