Vintage Design

An exceptional mid-century Murano crystal glass suite comprising six wine, white wine, desert, sweet wine glasses, hand-blown in clear cristallo veneziano and finely decorated with a white enamel lace motif (pizzo veneziano).

Each piece features a delicate iridescent surface that captures light with a soft rainbow sheen — a signature detail of Venetian post-war decorative glass. The design is attributed to Salvatori Venetia, whose porcelain of the same period displays identical lace decoration, suggesting this service was produced for a coordinated luxury gift line in 1950s Venice.

Elegant, lightweight, and refined in proportion, the set illustrates the transition of Murano craftsmanship into the modern Italian aesthetic of the mid-20th century.
