Woman is an original artwork realized by Louis Bertomme Saint-André. Colored lithograph on paper. Hand-signed in pencil by the artist on the lower right. Signed on plate on the lower left margin. Artist's proof. Excellent conditions. The artwork represents a beautiful portrait of a woman with a bouquet of white flowers. The artwork was realized by the French painter and engraver Louis Berthomme Saint-André (Barbery, 1905 - Paris, 1977). He studied at Saintes and worked as architect for Georges Naud. In 1921, he became the pupil of Fernand Cormon and Jean-Paul Laurens at the École des Beaux-Arts de Paris. He gained the silver medal at the Salon des Artistes Français, where he exhibited from 1924 to 1929. He was the author of several illustrations representing Algery and Provence landscapes. He also realized several erotic artworks for Paul Verlaine, Guillaume Apollinaire, Charles Baudelaire, Denis Diderot, Voltaire, and Jean-Louis Miège. This artwork is shipped from Italy.
