About This Piece

Brooch - pendant in 18 karat yellow gold, horse head hallmark. Magnificent antique brooch, it is openwork of a floral design set with a ruby, topped with three natural pearls. The base and foliage are set with rose-cut diamonds. At the base, as a tassel, is a white orient pearl. The hanging system is a pin with safety hook. The Art Nouveau brooch has three rings at the back, which allow it to be worn as an antique pendant, as well as a hook at the base, from which a watch could be hung. Height: 4.4 cm, width: 3.5 cm, thickness: 6 mm. Total weight of the jewel: 4,2 g approximately. Authentic antique jewelry - French Art Nouveau work, circa 1890.
