About This Piece

Vintage Design

Former violinated medium table with a crushed natural wooden shelf of the 18th century.
At Chauqe Coin de la Table, there is a carved head.
The whole is beautifully worked on sculpted.
The 18th century baroque tables were often characterized by their rich and complex ornamentation, with elaborate sculptures and raised ornaments. The heads carved in the 4 corners of the table were a common element of this style.

These carved heads were often representations of mythological figures or historical figures. They were often made from carved and polished wood to create a brilliant and elegant effect.

Baroque tables were also known for their large size and robustness, as well as for their use of high quality materials such as oak or walnut wood.
