About This Piece

Vintage Design

Large Louis XVI style lantern from the main staircase of a Directoire style home, hand-crafted from 1930/1940 in wrought iron and riveted sheet metal, with a cutaway angle embellished with a twisted tube gilded with wax and brass and bronze elements for the upper part and fitted with its 5 panes of 3 mm glass.
