About This Piece

Vintage Design

A rare antique ebony and specimen wood
miniature octagonal table. Ceylonese/Indian. Circa 19th century.

The top is radially veneered with exotic woods including Coromandel Ebony, Sal wood and Palmwood.

Very sturdy, with no loose joints. The table has been waxed. There was a very small amount of woodworm to the underside, this appeared old, but has been treated and filled.
