About This Piece

Vintage Design

This lovely example of an ornate French Gueridon violin table features a book-matched mahogany top and molded outer edge. Set within the frieze are two concealed drawers decorated with floral and foliate designs. The top sits on a substantially turned baluster column decorated with acanthus leaves leading down to four legs standing on original casters. The legs are decorated with C scrolls and further floral decoration.
