About This Piece

Vintage Design

A rocaille Mantel Clock made of gilded bronze on a fireplace. It depicts putti in the image of Dionysus playing the flute. The rod is broken, the musical instruments are left and he sees off the holiday with a sad melody. A festive Dionysian feast is left - the time of pause for reflection counts these hours. Hallmarks: letter "V", numbers "710". A complete revision of the mechanism was carried out.
