Very expressive oil painting by Dutch artist Henri Titselaar.
Oil on hardboard, size: 63 x 47 cm (24.8 x 18.5 inch).
Framed and behind glass, with passe-partout.
Signed and in very good condition.

Henri Titselaar (1917-2013) was a Dutch artist who worked in the style of the Fauvists, Bergense School and Groninger Ploeg. Even though he was a local celebrity and had lots of expositions in his natal Holland (i.e. Stedelijk Museum Alkmaar, Van Abbemuseum, Fundatie Kunsthuis Amsterdam) until now he never made it to international fame.
