Lovely antique circa 1880 hand carved Georgian Irish style Gainsborough armchair with heavily carved frame A very good looking and well made armchair, the frame is ornately carved all over with wonderful Lion's hairy paw feet, this chair really is a tour de force of craftsmanship and looks expensive and important from every angle Condition wise, we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, there is one side piece of carving missing from the left leg on the side, otherwise its in fine antique order Dimensions Height:- 89.5cm Width:- 62.5cm Depth:- 71.5cm Seat height:- 44cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point.
