About This Piece

Vintage Design

Portable wooden storage/transport furniture for ceramics or lacquerware.

These boxes were often used to carry bento boxes to work in the fields or for picnics.

This box is opened at the front by sliding the panel upwards. Inside, there is one shelf provided.

A typical Japanese utensil with decorative value. Convenient for storing small items, it adds beauty to any interior.
