About This Piece

Vintage Design

This large high-quality table lamp features an original Chinese porcelain vase base. The hand-painted vase shows a beautiful decor with flowering twigs and nicely detailed ornaments, flanked by two small dragon-shaped handles. The quality parchment lampshade, the brass stem, two sockets and the lampshade holder were added during the 1930s. The supply cable with switch and plug was replaced around 1960.
