A porthole from which to look or a magic circle in which to get lost. Revisiting a 1984 painting by Alessandro Guerriero, Oceano becomes a circular rug made of steel and held at the base by a system of magnets. Special epoxy paints provide greater protection and at the same time create a vivid, full-bodied color effect. The object, through its unusual materiality, makes fun at its own expense, and claims back its artistic conceptuality.
