Vintage Design

This wonderful German pendant lamp or Lüstermännchen features a hand-carved figure of a mountain climber in beautifully hand-painted Bavarian traditional clothing in brown, green, white, and red colors. The detailed carved wooden mountaineer wears a hat and is holding onto a rope and holding a lantern in one hand. The height of the pendant light fixture is circa 60 cm / 23.62 in, the wooden figure is circa 14 cm / 5.51 in deep, and circa 18 cm / 7.08 in wide. The carved wooden figure looks extremely lifelike and inspires with its attention to detail. The extraordinary ceiling lamp moves everyone to imagine the beautiful Alps and mountains, it will be a real eyecatcher in your interior. An excellent gift for a mountain enthusiast. One new socket for E14 size light bulb. In good condition with slight signs of aging and use. The light fixture is in complete working order, but as with all vintage or antique lighting, we would always suggest it is installed by a qualified electrician.
