Vintage Design

An antique Queen Anne style burr figured walnut server/console table. Circa 1930's.

The table is of superb quality and is in excellent clean condition for its age, showing very light signs of use, with a great patina and wonderful shine. The left hand side has mellowed in colour a little to the rest of the table, but it still has that wonderful shine.

Veneered in figured burr walnut, it shows a beautiful grain in the wood. The top has hand-carved edging, the table terminating on solid walnut Queen Anne legs, with hand-carved acanthus leaf decoration to the knees.

The interior of the drawer is lined with baize and has dividers. The drawers have handmade dovetail construction. There are keys that work both drawers.
