Bakboord Oil Vessel Lamp in Copper and Glass.

This lamp was used as a signal of presence like modern electric lights.
The double glass, one transparent and the other red, made it possible to vary the signal or simply outline the shape in the dark.
The lamp worked at the time with white petroleum ... today you can also use ethyl alcohol or bioethanol.
